Obituary: Albert E. 'Skip' Fredericks, 63, of West Haven

Skip proudly served in the U.S. Army as a sharpshooter. He loved his family, his fur babies and a good strong cup of coffee.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Albert E. (Skip) Fredericks, 63, of West Haven entered into rest on October 16, 2021. He was the husband of Carol Tomasco Fredericks.

In addition to Carol, Skip leaves his only and beloved daughter Daniele (Vernon Wallenta) Waterhouse-Wallenta; grandchildren Trevor J. Perrotti and Shaynah Wallenta; his fur baby Bella Luna and fur grandbaby Stone R. Weim.

He was predeceased by his siblings Doreen Fredericks and Robert Fredericks.

From September 1976 until his discharge in September 1978, Skip proudly served in the US Army as a sharpshooter of M16’s and hand grenades. He completed telecommunication specialist school and was officially retired from the Army in September 1981.

Skip loved his family, his fur babies and a good strong cup of Maxwell House coffee!

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday October 27 at10 o’clock at the State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane Middletown.

Please meet sharply at 8:45 at the funeral home for directions to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors.
