Obituary: Angelina Midolo, 96, formerly of West Haven
Angelina worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She was an avid reader and art enthusiast.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Angelina Midolo, 96, of Hamden, formerly of West Haven, passed peacefully July 24th at Yale N.H. Hospital with her family by her side.
She was the loving wife of the late Salvatore Midolo.
Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Dominic & Nunziata "Nancy" Clemente.
Angelina worked for many years as a bookkeeper.
She was an avid reader, and very artistic .
She is survived by a son Carmine (Kathy) Midolo of Middlebury, a daughter Josephine Shabbott of Hamden, and a sister Elizabeth "Betty" Midolo of East Haven, 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by 7 siblings.
Funeral services will be held FRIDAY at 10:15 A.M. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden and at 11:00 in Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Friends may call Friday morning from 8:15 - 10:15. Burial in St. Lawrence cemetery.
