A U.S. Army veteran, he worked for Pratt & Whitney for many years, loved boating, fishing, crabbing & walking on the West Haven Board Walk.

Anthony “Tony” J. Orsini, Sr., 92, of West Haven passed away October 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father of Anthony J. Orsini, Jr. and fiancée Brenda Pisanelli of West Haven. Cherished grandfather of Cara Orsini and her husband Ye Tian. Brother of Mary Colonese and Victoria Cordone both of West Haven and the late Salvatore and Joseph Orsini. He also leaves his former wife Evelyn DeCarlo of West Haven and several nieces and nephews.
Tony was born in New Haven on September 27, 1933, a son of the late Joseph A. and Angelina Maresca Orsini.

Prior to his retirement, Tony worked for Pratt & Whitney for many years. He loved boating, fishing and crabbing and loved walking on the West Haven Board Walk with his many friends.
Tony was an avid trap shooter and was a member of the Seymour Fish & Game and the Ansonia Rod and Gun Club. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

A Parlor Service will be held in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Friday at 12:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
