Obituary: Barbara Lowery Johnson, 83, of West Haven
Barbara, always ambitious and devoted to her loved ones, worked many years for both Milford Jai-Alai as well as Sports Haven.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Barbara Lowery Johnson, 83, of West Haven entered into rest at her home on February 28, 2022. She was the wife of the late Herbert Johnson.
Barb leaves her beloved grandchildren Jessica (Will), Lexi (Justin) and Brianna, 3 great grandchildren Divalisse, Kaison and Willie and her son-in-law Rick.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her children Sandra and Ricky Johnson, her parents and brothers Bill and Guy.
Always ambitious, Barbara worked for Jai-Alai in Milford and then at Sports Haven, New Haven, a job she held well into her 80s.
Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and they kept her young as she was so involved in their lives.
Visitation will take place on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.
On Friday morning a graveside service will take place at 11 o’clock at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
