Obituary: Eleanor “Nornie” Jane Lindsay Patchell, 86, of West Haven
Eleanor, a lifelong West Haven resident, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Eleanor “Nornie” Jane Lindsay Patchell, age 86, a lifelong resident of West Haven, passed away at home, with her loving family at her side on June 4, 2022.
She was the loving wife of the late Harry Patchell Sr. Eleanor was born in West Haven, daughter of the late James B. and Stella Allen Lindsay.
She is survived by her devoted children, David Michael (Lisa) Patchell, Mark James (Debbie) Patchell, Robbie Douglas (Joy) Patchell, Robin Jane Patchell, Kimberly Susan (Jack) Patchell Mas, Harry Lee Patchell Jr., Chuckie Patchell, her 11 amazing grandchildren and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Nornie was one of eight children, she is also survived by her sisters, Gail Lindsay (Barry) Donovan and Sandy Lindsay (Charlie) Stine and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two daughters, Joan Patchell and Carol Patchell.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 13th from 4-6pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 6pm. Interment will be private.
