Obituary: James Gilbane, 71, Of West Haven
James was always proud of his Scottish heritage, a longtime West Haven native and overall loving and devoted family man.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home): James Gilbane, 71, of West Haven, passed away on June 18, 2022.
Jim was born in Glasgow Scotland, son of the late Catherine and Peter Gilbane.
He was married to Cynthia Lawren Huestis Gilbane and widowed in 2015.

Jim is survived by his children Lisa, Jim, and Emily, and grandchildren Edward, Elise, Luke, Ean, Evelyn, Eli, Theodore, and Nathanial, and his brothers Peter and Patrick Gilbane, and best friend Bobby Freligh.
Friends may visit on Saturday, July 9, 2022, between 1 and 3 pm, at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.

Private burial will take place at Blue Mountain Cemetery, Saugherties New York.
