Obituary: Minnie DeLucia Hurley, 92, of West Haven
Minnie will be remembered for her selfless supply of love, support and generosity to her family and friends.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Minnie DeLucia Hurley, 92, of West Haven left us on September 6, 2021, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of the late Edward James Hurley.
Minnie leaves her loving family including her two sons Donald Hurley, his wife Sandra and their daughter Kelli, Edward Hurley, Aileen and their daughter Stacie; and her brother Michael DeLucia of Hamden.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret DeLucia; brother Andrew DeLucia and sisters Rose Ressa and Mary Salvietti.
Minnie will be remembered, not only for her amazing cooking but for her selfless supply of love, support and generosity to her family and friends, especially “the lights of her life” her sons, daughter-in-laws and granddaughters.
She would do anything for them and will be sorely missed and cherished forever.
Visitation will take place on Friday morning between 8:30 and 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis Church, St. John XXIII at 11 o’clock.
Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
