Obituary: Stevie Mitchell, 55 of West Haven
Stevie was a loving and devoted son, brother and friend to many.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Stevie Mitchell, 55 of West Haven, formerly of New Haven died peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his loving family by his side.
Stevie was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 6, 1966, a son of Mary Vlado Mitchell of West Haven and the late John "Chief" Mitchell, and had resided in New Haven for most of his life before moving to West Haven last year.
He is also survived by two sisters, Kathy Jace of Providence, RI and Lisa Mitchell of Revere, MA, one brother Wally Mitchell of West Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Stevie's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 3rd from 12:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
A committal service will take place at the mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven on Wednesday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m.
