Pedestrian Killed, Motorcyclist Critically Injured In West Haven Crash
A pedestrian was killed and a motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash Sunday night in West Haven, according to reports.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A pedestrian was killed and a motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash Sunday night in West Haven, according to multiple reports, including WFSB 3.
WTNH News 8 reports the crash happened around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Campbell Avenue when a woman was struck by a motorcycle while she was crossing the street.
The pedestrian, identified as 47-year-old Jaymie Marazzi Taylor of West Haven, was taken to a hospital where she later died, according to WFSB.

WFSB reports the impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to lose control, and the bike fell onto its side and slid until coming to a stop. The motorcyclist, who hasn’t been identified, was also taken to the hospital, where he remained in critical condition, according to WFSB.
A portion of Campbell Avenue was closed for about six hours while the crash was investigated, according to WTNH.
