Person Shot Repeatedly In West Haven: Police

Officers found spent casings and blood, then discovered a larger amount of blood leading to the back of a nearby home, police said.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A person suffered from multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting Saturday in West Haven, according to police.

Officers responded around 10:46 p.m. to Anderson Avenue and Blohm Street in connection with several reports of gunfire, police said. Upon arrival, the officers found spent casings and blood, then discovered a larger amount of blood leading to the back of a nearby home, according to police.

Inside the residence was a person who had been shot repeatedly, police said, adding the victim was taken to an area hospital.
