Senior Dog Found Roaming In West Haven: Animal Shelter

The dog was found by a good Samaritan and the animal shelter is trying to find his owner.

UPDATE: The dog has been reunited with his owner, according to the animal shelter.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Animal Shelter is asking for help with finding a lost dog’s owner.

“This cute senior guy was found roaming by a good Samaritan last night in the area of Main St and Washington Ave.,” the animal shelter wrote in a post on Facebook on Monday. “He has no collar or tags, He is microchipped and we have contacted the microchip company but the phone numbers attached to the chip are either no longer in service or have a voice-mail that has not been set up. If anyone has any information as to where he may belong, please call the Shelter between 8-3. please leave a voice-mail in the general voicemail box as our phones are still not working. Or call the Non-emergency Police Department number 203-937-3900.”
