West Haven Holding Hanukkah Menorah Lighting On Green

The public is invited to the celebration.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Green Hanukkah Menorah Lighting, presented by Mayor Dorinda Borer, is set for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 16.

The lighting will mark the third night of the Jewish Festival of Lights, an eight-day commemoration of rededication of the Temple by the Maccabees after their victory over the Syrians.

The annual ceremony will feature a blessing by Rabbi Schneur Wilhelm of Chabad of Milford-Hebrew Congregation of Woodmont.
