WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, Kristin A. claimed a winning $100,000 CA$HWORD ticket she bought at Grillo's Market on Campbell Avenue in West Haven.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in September 2024, and as of Tuesday, nine grand prizes of $100,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 5.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.13.
