An Easton man reported seeing a large Black Bear standing at the intersection of North Street and North Park Avenue at 6:30 a.m. on May 30.
He called police to report the sighting on June 1 and told an officer that the bear appeared to be healthy and walked into the woods, heading north.
A Black Bear sighting report was made to the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.
