Ex-Easton Mom Denies Supplying Alcohol, Condoms to Teenage Party

The former Easton resident charged with 10 felony counts for allegedly supplying an underage party.

A former Easton mother is facing 10 charges of felony risk of injury to a child for allegedly supplying her daughter and her teenage friends with alcohol and a condom at a party thrown at their former Easton home in April.

According to police, 39-year-old Elaine Mullen, who now lives in Greenwich, bought two bottles of liquor and a six-pack of beer for the party and provided a condom for two teens to have sex.

One boy at the party was later taken to Bridgeport Hospital for possible alcohol poisoning, prompting his parents to contact police.

Mullen is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 16, however in an interview with the CT Post she denied the accusations that she supplied the underage party with alcohol or condoms, stating that it was meant to be a small get together that got “out of hand.”

Mullen told the Post her daughter purchased the alcohol without her knowledge and might have taken the condom from her nightstand.
