Anne Rysz was elevated from transportation administrator to move-in coordinator, a role that is vital to a smooth transition and positive start for new residents. Additionally, Maura Leonard-Pasley was named program coordinator in the mind and memory care neighborhood. There, she will lead tailored and engaging activities for residents who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

"Anne and Maura have been tremendous members of the Meadow Ridge team and are valued by their fellow associates and residents," said Meadow Ridge Campus Executive Director Chris Barstein. "We’re thrilled they’re growing their careers with us."

Anne has worked at Meadow Ridge since January 2022. In her role as move-in coordinator, Anne provides personal, concierge service to new residents. She works with them to select customization options for their home and oversees the work, coordinates the logistics of moving day, and ensures all the little details are accounted for—from getting the internet hooked up to making sure new residents take advantage of opportunities to meet their neighbors. "Every day is different," she says. "It’s so rewarding to work with residents through this process, from start to finish. I love it!"

Maura joined Meadow Ridge in February 2023 as a program assistant for the assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Prior to that she worked in K-12 behavioral intervention, but she is no stranger to the senior living environment. Three out of her four grandparents were in assisted living, including a grandmother who had dementia, and she feels her work is a calling. "I feel I’m doing a service in my grandparents’ memory," she says, noting her fiancé remarked that, "since joining Meadow Ridge I came home at the end of the day happier and more excited."
