Night Construction to Take Place on Weston Road

WESTON, CT— From the Weston Police Department: The CT State DOT supervisor of the Weston Road project here in Weston is reporting that the first night of after hours construction was scheduled for last night starting at 8:00 p.m. and finished before 6:00 a.m. this morning.

Work will continue again tonight (Tuesday), Wednesday and Thursday nights. Weather permitting, the hope is to finish this current phase this week in an effort to complete this project by the end of December before the winter weather sets in. Police Officers will be hired by CT State DOT to stand by at the scene to assist with traffic and safety.

The DOT is aware that the construction noise has caused concern by the community. Complaints should be filed with the CT DOT. This is a state project.
