Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I was appointed to the Easton Board of Education in August 2024 following another member stepping down.

Why are you seeking this office?
With three children in the school district, I am passionate about their education as well as the education of all children in Easton. As a strong proponent of public education, I am committed to ensuring that the academic and emotional needs of our students are top priority of this community. My family has had a wonderful public school experience here in Easton and I love the opportunity to give back to the community in this way and be able to connect with other parents.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
To ensure that all children of Easton have access to the best public school education possible, I intend to keep the dialogue open between myself and all parents and truly listen to their needs. I believe my role as a board member is to assist the administration in implementing policies that best serve all our families.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My experience in the school district stands out. This is my eleventh year as a parent in the district and have six years experience serving on the board of the Parent Teacher Organization. As such, I have a history of liaising between parents and the administration which is crucial to being an active and valuable member of the Easton Board of Education.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I love being part of the conversation of education and will continue to liaise between parents and the administration by being accessible and available to both.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a former president and treasurer of the Easton PTO, I have worked first hand with the school administrators, teachers and parents. As a president during COVID, I helped lead a board that was forced to get creative on how to raise money to fund our budget and how to best support teachers, parents and students. I am proud to say that we succeeded in all we set out to accomplish during that very difficult time.

Professionally, I am a seasoned private investigator with 25 years of experience. This allows me to view all situations through a neutral lens and offer a unique critical analysis.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
To live a life that feels truthful and authentic and not worry about what that looks like to others.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
When I am not working or driving my children around, you can find me at local wellness center, Strong on Center; hiking the Easton trails with my family; listening to a true crime podcast or reading at the beach.
