REDDING, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Katherine Keating in Wilton nominated Redding EMT Drew Cohn as a Patch Local Hero.

"In uncertain times, Drew is the one you want in your corner - which is why we are so proud he is an EMT," Keating said. "Through times of crisis he can make anyone laugh - it is his nature to bring out the light when the world seems dark."

Drew is married to Jenn, and has two young daughters, Zoe and Mia. It's from these women that the EMT and essential worker "derives... and spreads joy."

"Drew never has a bad thing to say about anyone. He lives life with love and compassion for everyone," Keating said.
