State Representative Anne Hughes announced Saturday that she has secured endorsements from both the Democratic Party and the Working Families Party for the upcoming November ballot.

Rep. Hughes expressed her enthusiasm for the dual endorsement: "I'm honored to be on the ballot this November for re-election as your state representative, appearing on both the Democratic and Working Families Party lines. This dual endorsement reflects my commitment to prioritizing the needs of working families across our district and Connecticut."

"For voters seeking an alternative to the traditional two-party system, the Working Families Party ballot line provides an opportunity to support candidates who consistently advocate for working families," Hughes added. The endorsement adds to a growing list of endorsements that Rep. Hughes has received including from the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), CT Education Association (CEA), CT League of Conservation Voters, CT State Building Trades, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 478, Reproductive Equity Now, Sierra Club, Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters of Connecticut, Working Families Party, and Young Democrats of CT."

Rep. Hughes will appear on Row A as the Democratic candidate and on the Working Families Party line on the November ballot. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.
