School Briefs: May 29

Weston, Redding and Easton students earn accolades.

Champlain College recently held its commencement ceremonies, and two local students were among those who earned degrees:

  • Michael Bromer, of , received a bachelor of science degree in business.
  • Ryan Kenny of Easton, received a bachelor of science degree in game art and animation.

Bryant University held its graduate school commencement on Thursday, May 17. Among the graduates are the following local residents:

  • Constantin Sullivan, of Easton, who earned a Master of Business Administration 
  • Robert Maiorano, of Easton, who earned a Master of Business Administration

Eastern Connecticut State University's commencement took place on May 15. Michele Montanaro, of Easton, graduated with a degree in psychology .

Daniel Mercede, of Redding, graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the commencement ceremony held Saturday, May 19. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication and graduated Cum Laude.

The following local students were awarded degrees during Salve Regina University's commencement on Sunday, May 20:

  • Jared Henry Emanuel, of Redding, was awarded a bachelor of arts and science degree in secondary education and history.
  • Marisa Noel Kocum, of Easton, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and special education.
  • Zachary Power Rosenfeld, of Easton, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in financial management.
