Weston’s EcoFest Comes To Lachat Farm With Music, Wildlife & More
Weston's EcoFest on May 4 features live music, food, eco-talks, kids' events, and a bottle drive raffle at Lachat Town Farm.
WESTON, CT — Weston will host EcoFest on Sunday, May 4, offering a day of environmental education, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and local engagement at Lachat Town Farm. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend.
Organizers say EcoFest will feature more than a dozen local vendors and environmental partners, along with food trucks, live animal presentations, music, and interactive sustainability-themed activities. The festival is a joint effort by Lachat Town Farm, the Town of Weston Sustainability Committee, Weston Public Schools Green Teams, and Weston High School’s Sustainable Solutions students.
A key component of the event is a celebration of Weston's bottle and can redemption program, which has now processed over 1 million redeemable containers. Visitors are encouraged to bring 25 or more redeemables to participate in a raffle for a $250 cash prize.
