Battle Of The Bands Scheduled At Westport Library In January

WESTPORT, CT — Verso Studios will host its first Battle of the Bands at The Westport Library on Jan. 10, featuring four local teen and college-aged bands. The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

The lineup includes The Breakers, Clockwork, Caravan and MOSS. The competition will be decided by audience vote at the conclusion of the show. First place will receive a $500 prize, and second place will receive $250.

Organizers said the event is intended to highlight emerging local musicians and encourage community participation in live music. The Battle of the Bands marks a new initiative by Verso Studios to support original music and provide performance opportunities for young artists in the region.
