Westport Police Assist in Arrest of New Hampshire Fugitive

William Patrick Boucher, 27, of Summerville, is facing narcotics and burglary related charges, according to police.

 

The Westport Police Department and the United States Marshal’s Service arrested a New Hampshire man Tuesday morning for extraditable felony warrants from that state, according to a statement released by Captain Samuel Arciola.

The department received information that the suspect—William Patrick Boucher, 27, of Summerville—was possibly staying in Westport and, in conjunction with the United States Marshal’s Service, members of the department's Detective Bureau took the suspect into custody without incident at around 6 a.m. at a Lockwood Circle residence, according to Arciola.

Boucher was charged as a fugitive from justice for narcotics and burglary related charges and his bond is set at $250,000. He was unable to post bond and was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court.
