Accused Realtor 'A Victim,' Attorney Says: Report
Barbara Morris is accused of taking more than $400,000 worth of items from a foreclosed home in Wilton.

WILTON, CT — The attorney of a local realtor accused of taking more than $400,000 worth of items from a foreclosed home in Wilton said his client was a victim in this case, reports the News Times. Attorney Phillip Russell says his client Barbara Morris, 66, was trying to resolve an "impossible situation."
"Barbara Morris is a victim in this case," Russell said according to the report."What she tried to do was resolve an impossible situation."

On Thursday, Wilton police charged Morris with criminal attempt to commit larceny after she turned herself in at the Wilton Police Department. The home she was tasked to oversee was full of the owner's belongings and has been involved in foreclosure proceedings.
Russell stated the homeowner was not reachable for three years and the home needed to be emptied.
