Aquarion Wilton Detour Update For Week of Dec. 2

Aquarion Water Company will continue its work installing utility pipe across Route 106 at Old Boston Road intersection starting on Monday December 2nd, 2024, weather permitting.

Route 106 will be closed to thru traffic between Old Boston Rd and Old Kings Highway. Access to the detour route will be maintained by allowing one lane of alternating traffic through the intersection at a time. Please follow the detour signs.

Hours for this road work will be from approximately 7 am to 5:30 pm (M-F). For the safety of vehicles and construction workers, traffic control will be in place to assist the flow of traffic. Please follow their direction. Consider using alternate routes.

All bus stops will remain at their current locations. Emergency vehicles will be granted immediate access through this area.

It is anticipated that work will take approximately 3-4 weeks. Please refer to Aquarion’s link for project updates. (Route 106 New Canaan Road Project Update)
