Local Business Leaders Hit Dance Floor For 'Dancing With The Stars' Gala

From ElderHouse Adult Day Center: It’s time again to polish the mirror ball and sweep the dance floor in preparation for ElderHouse Adult Day Center’s annual fundraising event, Dancing with the Stars - 4th Annual Gala Benefit.

This fundraising event pairs eight high-profile local business leaders with professional dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios, who will generously give of their time to prepare dance routines to be showcased at the Gala Benefit on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, CT.

Our 2017 “Star” line-up includes Peter F.C. Beaugard, Director of Brand Strategy, Dooney & Bourke, Paul Garavel, President, Garavel Auto Group, Carol Johnson, Vice President, Fairfield County Bank, W. Glenn Major, Partner, Sherwood & Garlick, P.C., Dr. Jeanne Marconi, Managing Partner, The Center for Advanced Pediatrics, Chris McCagg, Partner, Rogers McCagg Architects, Carol Piccaro, President and CEO, U.S. Chemicals, and Jean Walker, President, Crystal Restoration Services of CT, Inc.

Funds will be raised through ticket sales, pledges, onsite voting, live auction and paddle raise. “The money raised in recent years has far exceeded our original goal and that is due in part to the enthusiasm and outreach of our star dancers and the generosity of colleagues, family and friends.” said Nancy Romberg, Benefit Committee Chair and Vice President, Fairfield County Bank. “We anticipate another sold-out event”, added Denise Cesareo, Executive Director of Elderhouse. Tickets for the Gala will go on sale January 1, 2017.
