Wilton Offers Free Radon Testing Kits Through Partnership With State Health Officials
Wilton residents can request free radon testing kits through a partnership with the state health department.
WILTON, CT — Wilton residents can obtain free radon testing kits through a partnership between the Wilton Health Department and the Connecticut Department of Public Health, town officials announced.
The limited supply of kits is intended to help residents test their homes for the presence of radon gas. Each kit includes a postage-paid envelope for mailing samples to a laboratory for analysis.
Residents who receive a kit are asked to use it as soon as possible after pickup, according to the Health Department.
To request a free radon test kit, residents may contact the Wilton Health Department by email at health@wiltonct.gov. Questions about the program can also be directed to the department by phone at 203-563-0174.
