Local Residents Win Big in CT Lottery
A Wilton car wash sold a lucky customer a winning ticket last month. Find out which one of your neighbors is a little richer here on Patch.
WILTON, CT — Connecticut residents won big in August in Connecticut lottery prizes including two Danbury men who more than $100,000 in combined cash prizes. The retailers who sold the winners their tickets also get a little piece of the pie for selling the lucky lotto ticket.

- Bethel Car Wash sold Garrett Lang of Middlebury a winning $10,000 cash ticket.
Danbury:
- Emigdio Landeros De Dios, of Danbury won $50,000 on a $50,000 Riches ticket sold at Michael’s 1 Stop Variety in Danbury.
- Willians Pena Espinal of Danbury won $53,540 on a Play4 Night ticket bought at Papi's Liquor Store in Danbury.
Easton:

- Robert Sabo bought a Cash 5 ticket at Greiser Store in Easton and won big with a $100,000 cash prize.
Monroe:
- David Pereira, of Monroe won $33,333 on a $100,000 Cashword ticket sold at FM One Stop in Monroe.
- Peter Bonitatibus Jr, of Monroe won $10,000 on a 10X Cash ticket sold at Stop and Go Food Mart in Monroe.
Weston:
- Tiffany Donovan of Weston won $50,000 on a Powerball ticket sold at Weston Hardware and Housewares in Weston.
Wilton:
- A Wilton gas station sold Carlos Rodrigues, a Bridgeport man, a $10,000 winning 10X Cash ticket. The ticket was sold at PVC Gulf in Wilton.
