Wilton Motorist Hits Stump, Rolls Over, But Awalks Away Uninjured
The driver struck a large stump on the side of the road before rolling over and coming to a rest upright and back upon all four tires.
WILTON, CT— A Wilton motorist was taken to the hospital after losing control of his SUV and hitting a stump.
The Ridgefield Road resident was traveling east on the south side of Olmstead Hill Road at 8:06 Thursday morning when their 2015 Chevrolet Traverse began to leave the roadway onto the right shoulder.
The motorist then swerved back to the left, before swerving out of control back towards the right shoulder, according to a report from the Wilton Police Department.

The Chevy struck a large stump on the right shoulder with its right front side, before rolling over and coming to a rest upright and back upon all four tires.
The motorist told police he was not injured in the accident but was taken by Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corp to Norwalk Hospital for a medical evaluation.
