WILTON, CT — On Jan. 23, at around 8:40 p.m., Wilton officers say they spied a 2005 Honda traveling southbound on Route 7 in the area of Sharp Hill Road with no visible license plate on the rear of the car.

Police pulled the car over and discovered the driver, Adonis De Castro-Espinal, 30, of Mill Ridge Road in Danbury, was uninsured. They also saw that the paper New Jersey temporary registration taped to the rear window of the SUV belonged to a different vehicle, one not owned by Adonis.

Further investigation revealed multiple open and one half-empty containers of alcohol in between the front driver and passenger seats.
