Police Encourage Vehicle And Home Safety After Recent Burglaries

Secure your residence, lock your car, and do not leave valuables in plain view. Read on for more tips.

From Wilton Police: The Wilton Police Department is urging residents to secure their vehicle(s) and lock their residence so they do not fall victim to crime. In recent weeks, there has been a rise in vehicle and residential burglaries and two stolen vehicles, both which were stolen while parked in the driveway with the keys in the unsecure vehicle.

Reminders:

  • SECURE your residence and set your alarm
  • LOCK your vehicle
  • Do not leave valuables in plain view: conceal or remove
  • Be vigilant of your surroundings
  • If you see a suspicious person or vehicle, please call 911 or the Wilton Police Department at (203) 834-6260, immediately. Don't wait!
