The Savage Johnson Rink at the Loomis Chaffee School will be open on Sunday afternoons for hockey and figure skating during the school’s winter term. The skating will be open to the residents of Windsor, Loomis Chaffee alumni, and members of the Loomis Chaffee community and their families on the following Sundays:
December 4 and 11
January 8, 15, 22, 29

February 12, 19 and 26.
The rink will be closed on February 5 as part of the school’s annual Head of School holiday weekend.

The hours for skating are: 1:15 - 2:15 p.m. open hockey (helmets and facemasks required) and 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. open skating (no pucks or sticks on the ice). Visitors must bring their own skates and other equipment and there is no charge. The Savage Johnson Rink is located on the school campus off Broad Street (Rt. 159) on Island Road in Windsor.
