Wind and rain led to downed trees and temporary road closures on Friday, Windsor police say.
WINDSOR, CT — Several roads in Windsor were impacted by fallen trees Friday, causing road closures and utility crews to respond, police said.
According to an email from Windsor Police Cpt. Andrew Power, a tree is currently down across Valley View Drive, with Eversource responding to the scene. Earlier incidents involving trees across the roadway were also reported on Palisado Avenue and Pine Drive.
In addition, the Windsor Department of Public Works earlier cleared a fallen tree from Pierson Lane, restoring access to that roadway.
