Wednesday brings high winds, "Give Back Night" and First Towne Quilters.

1. Today will be partly sunny with a high of 36, but be sure to wear a scarf as winds are expected to gust as high as 25 mph. Temperatures will drop to around 27 degrees tonight, and there is a chance of rainfall after 7 p.m. according to National Weather Service reports.
2. Seniors who love to quilt or want to learn can head over to the Senior Center today to join the First Towne Quilters from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Call 860-285-1992 for more information.
3. Several local organizations will benefit tonight as Chili's is holding a "Give Back Night." Patrons who present a coupon (available at Chili's) can donate 10% of their check to the local organizations. Tonight's "Give Back Night" will benefit Connecticut FOP.
