Thursday brings First Thursday at the Arts Center, our Weekend Planner Debut and a testimony from Windsor's State Representative, David Baram.

1. The snow has subsided. Today will be mostly sunny with a high in the upper 30's. Temperatures will dip into the lower, single digits tonight, according to National Weather Service reports.
2. It's the first Thursday of the month, and that mean's First Thursday at the Windsor Arts Center. Tonight's musical performance will feature Tango-inspired tunes from the guitar and violin-wielding duo Tempo del Fuoco. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. A $10 donation at the door is suggested.
3. We are very excited to introduce you to our "Get Out" Weekend Planner today as we hope you will find it useful. Our weekend planner runs for the first time today, and will run every Thursday to let you know what there is to do in the area on the weekend. 4. Windsor's State Representative, David Baram, released a letter written to the state's environmental committee to explain his presentation of a bill that would relieve municipalities of responsibility in the event of public negligence.
5. On this day in history, 2005, Alberto Gonzalez became the first Hispanic U.S. Attorney General. He was the countries 80th person to hold the position.
