Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Windsor

We could see it all today and Thursday, heavy rain, fog, wind, and even a thunderstorm is possible. Here's the latest.

The good news is the heaviest rain today has already moved through Connecticut but that sets the stage for another heavy rain storm on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Before the rain showers taper off later today, Connecticut will have seen an inch or two of rain, most of which fell early this morning, and we could be looking at the same amount of heavy rain on Thursday.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties. The weather service states, "Periods of heavy rain are expected today. Some poor drainage street flooding may occur during the day in any heavy rainfall. Another low pressure system will bring periods of heavy rainfall from midday Thursday into early Thursday night. There is the potential for both areal and river flooding, although magnitudes should be minor at most."
