WINDSOR, CT — The latest trek to a Hidden Gem takes us to Northwest Park in Windsor.

There sits a living testament to a longtime and potentially overlooked industry in Hartford and Tolland counties — the Connecticut Valley Tobacco Museum.

The museum offers an in-depth look at Connecticut tobacco from seed to shed and from shed to market. The crop is primarily sold for wrapper for premium cigars and is know for its bold color and quality flavor.
