WINDSOR, CT — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 1-month-old boy found unresponsive at a home on Tobey Avenue Wednesday morning.

Around 6:16 a.m., police and ambulance personnel arrived at the home and began life-saving measures, including CPR. The infant was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead, Capt. Andrew Power said.

"It appears it's accidental at this time," Power told Patch, adding an autopsy will be performed in the near future. "This does not appear suspicious."
