Windsor, East Catholic Place In Top 5 Of Final Boys Basketball Poll
Notre Dame-West Haven took top honors after completing a perfect season with the Division I championship.

CONNECTICUT — Notre Dame of West Haven, the state's only undefeated high school boys basketball team, was a unanimous selection by the state's sports media as the top team in Connecticut in the final poll of the 2023-24 season.
The Green Knights capped their perfect season by capturing a 52-46 decision over St. Bernard in the Division I finals Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena. They earned the top nods from all 17 voters.
Windsor, which won the Division II title in a 59-57 overtime thriller against West Haven, took second place in the balloting, while East Catholic of Manchester wound up fifth. Northwest Catholic of West Hartford placed 10th, and seven other schools from Hartford and Tolland counties collected votes.
