27-Year-Old Killed In Crash, ID Released By East Windsor Police
The vehicle stopped on an embankment and was held in place by utility wires, police said.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — Jared Charette, 27, was killed in a single motor vehicle crash, East Windsor police said.
At 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police found a man lying in the road on Rye Street. Charette sustained multiple injuries and was unconscious, and an officer immediately began CPR, police said.
Police found Charette's vehicle a Ford F-350 pickup truck, which had left the roadway, gone over a guardrail, and struck a utility pole, police said.

Preliminary investigation reveals that Charette was traveling northbound on Rye Street when he crossed the centerline, struck the guardrail, and overturned, resulting in ejection from his vehicle, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation. Some fuel did spill and DEEP crews responded to clean it up.
