Carol (Bellico) Bednarz, 78, wife of 49 years of the late Thomas Bednarz, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025. She was an amazing cook who loved to cook for family and friends, was devoted to her faith, and enjoyed visiting Rhode Island. Through life’s hardships and various health issues, she remained resilient and always demonstrated unwavering strength and persistence of love. Carol gave selflessly, embodied the values of faith, hope, and love, and instilled these values in her family, for which they will be eternally grateful.
Michael Malone, 90, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025. He was very proud to be a U.S. Navy veteran and loved traveling all over the world. He often spoke of his Navy travels to Mallorca and Barcelona among his favorite places. He continued his traveling adventures in the U.S. and abroad, including Ireland, Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. He also enjoyed his annual Navy reunion trips to different naval bases in the U.S. Mike had a long career in the transportation industry and was employed for many years at TWA and Hamilton Standard, happily retiring in the year 2000.

Margaret (Moselsky) Modeen, 86, beloved wife of the late Frederick Modeen, passed away peacefully at her home on May 9, 2025. Known affectionately as “Mammie” by her family and friends, she worked in a variety of roles, but her greatest joy came from being with family. She was happiest when gathered around the table for a lively game of setback or poker, or cheering on her favorite teams, the UConn Huskies and the Boston Red Sox, with unwavering enthusiasm.
Arnold “Larry” Pickett, 87, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a dedicated machinist at Colt Manufacturing. Known for his strong work ethic and quiet determination, he also had a lifelong passion for working on cars, and took pride in maintaining the grounds around his home.
