Bicyclist Hit By Car, Seriously Injured: East Windsor Police

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Route 5 between Abbe Road and Scantic Road is closed in both directions as the Metro Accident Reconstruction Team investigates a pedestrian vs. motor vehicle accident, police said.

A bicyclist was struck while riding along the shoulder of South Main Street and sustained serious injuries, police said. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as they become available, police added.
