Broad Brook Congregational Church Calls New Settled Pastor
Pastor Brian Baeder brings over 30 years experience in parish ministry.

EAST WINDSOR, CT —The members of the Broad Brook Congregational Church voted in late January to call Brian C. Baeder as their Settled Pastor. Pastor Brian, who lives in Enfield with his wife Jan, had been serving as their Bridge Pastor since July 3, 2022.
He is a Certified Lay Minister serving with authorization from the United Church of Christ (UCC) and brings over 30 years experience in parish ministry. He has also served as pastor of UCC churches in West Woodstock and West Stafford.
Baeder was born and raised in the suburbs of Waterbury, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Roger Williams University. He also attended the MBA program at Bryant University. He completed the Lay Ministry Program of the Hartford East Association, UCC.

His career path includes over 45 years in the aerospace industry working in the manufacturing engineering and quality assurance areas of small manufacturing companies. While working full time, he was always deeply involved in his congregation in Enfield before being called to parish ministry.
Baeder adds to the traditional services at Broad Brook Congregational by presenting the Children’s Story using hand puppets, and occasionally plays guitar and sings during the service.

Broad Brook Congregational Church is located at 122 Main Street in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor. Worship and Sunday school begin at 10 a.m. every Sunday.
