On Campus: Great Feats By Windsor Locks/East Windsor College Students

WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Champlain College, Burlington VT

• Tyler Mann of Windsor Locks was named to the Champlain College Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Students on the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Mann is currently majoring in game design.

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Abby Thurston Gallagher of Windsor Locks was named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors, or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Elms College, Chicopee MA

• Isabella Mills and Sydney Barthel, both of Windsor Locks, and Mary-Margaret Boucher of Broad Brook were named to the dean's list for the fall 2024 semester.

Endicott College, Beverly MA

• Tessa St. Pierre of Windsor Locks made the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. St. Pierre is majoring in education. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no grade below a "C," have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that 2,291 students have been named to the President's List or Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. The President's List recognizes a select group of students reaching the highest level of academic standing. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better. The Dean's List recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. The requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C. Local honorees on both lists are Hadeel Alomari, Carly MacDougald, AJ McGrath, Arya Muska, Savannah Nelson, Anthony Stoor and Cooper Wright, all of Windsor Locks, and Kylar Maldonado of East Windsor. Achieving Dean's List honors are Windsor Locks residents Michael Bukowinski, Cristian Calero, Sara Halsey, Dyani Maldonado, Josh Meller, Emily Milczak and Gavin Stone.
