On Campus: Milestones By Windsor Locks, East Windsor College Students

WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Elmira College, Elmira NY

• Elmira College recently announced this year's recipients of its annual Key Award. This year's award was given to 831 students in 17 states. A tradition that goes back to 1935, the Key Award is presented to outstanding students in their junior year of high school or preparatory school. Megan Emerson and Marko Paxi, both of Broad Brook, were among the students to receive an $88,000 scholarship over a four-year period, $22,000 per year, upon enrolling at Elmira College.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

• Sharon Bostock of Windsor Locks and Tiffany Lubanski of East Windsor were named to the summer 2024 President's List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List.
• Erica Burns of Windsor Locks has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's summer 2024 Dean's List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List.
