Car Crashes Into Tree In East Windsor, LifeStar Helicopter Responds, Fire Officials Say

EAST WINDSOR, CT — The Broad Brook Fire Department said they were at the scene of a single car motor vehicle accident versus a tree at the intersection of Melrose and North roads on Saturday.

One patient was self extricated and one patient needed extrication and was transported to a Hartford area hospital with injuries by Life Star Helicopter, officials said.

Police are investigating and Melrose Road between Yosky and North roads will be shut down for an extended period of time, fire officials said.
