Car Vs. Utility Pole Knocks Out Power, Closes Busy Roadway In East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR, CT — A car crashed into a utility pole near the Connecticut River Thursday morning, knocking out power in the Warehouse Point section of town and forcing closure of a busy stretch of roadway.

Bridge Street, or Route 140, is closed at Main and South Water streets while crews are on scene making repairs. Fire officials are advising motorists to avoid the area.
