Assumption University, Worcester MA

  • Assumption University has announced those who have been named to the University's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester, including Jenna Swist of Broad Brook and Hunter Demarco of Windsor Locks. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

  • Charles Ruckersfeldt of Broad Brook was named to the Dean's Honor List at Cedarville University for spring 2024. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

  • Springfield College has named three local students to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2024 spring semester. They are Michael Auretta and Katelyn Blume, both of East Windsor, and Kendra Lash from Windsor Locks.

  • On Friday, May 10, Broad Brook resident Jessica Feeney, who majored in mechanical engineering, was bestowed a BS/MS degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's (WPI) 155th Commencement. Nearly 1,100 undergraduate degrees were awarded during the ceremony.
