Commemorating the 79th Anniversary of the WWII Battle of Iwo Jima

At the Warehouse Point Library

People came to learn about why this battle was so important, who fought on the island, the famous flag raisers, the survivors who built the memorial and the Navajo Code Talkers unbreakable secret code.
